Man United have welcomed two key players back to first-team training ahead of the Crystal Palace game this weekend.
Manchester United’s season has been decimated by injury. Honestly, it has been a brutal campaign on that front. Although Erik ten Hag has been keen to not use it as an excuse, it’s hard to ignore the facts. No side has suffered more than the 20-time Premier League champions.
If we’re being honest, there’s just one meaningful game left; the FA Cup final. Ten Hag may have to win that match to keep his job, though there’s a chance the Dutchman’s fate has already been decided.
Before then, the gaffer is no doubt hoping for some players to return from the treatment table, while doing so in plenty of time to build up fitness and confidence levels.
Well, there has been some good news on that front, provided by Sky Sports News. The media outlet took to Twitter to offer United a double injury boost, with a star duo back in first-team training ahead of the Crystal Palace game next Monday.
Both Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez were back out there, which is a huge lift for the dressing room.

Rashford’s injury is far less serious. He missed the Burnley game after coming off during the game prior, though it’s good to see the Englishman back out there – and in plenty of time before the Palace match. There’s a good chance he’ll come right back into the starting line-up here.
We all know about Licha. The last thing United will want to do is rush him back out on the field. It has been an absolutely disastrous campaign for the Argentina international, though Ten Hag has to manage this situation perfectly.
In an ideal world, the defender will have at least a couple of starts under his belt before the FA Cup final, while it would be absolutely class to have him fully fit for that one. The problem? He’s running out of matches quickly.
