Man United handed huge double injury boost ahead of Liverpool away

Manchester United have been handed a much-needed injury boost ahead of a potentially tricky trip away at Liverpool, according to the IB Times.

Their report says that Phil Jones and Romelu Lukaku have both reported positive injury news with our biggest game of the season on the horizon – whilst adding that both are expected to be fit and ready to play. On top of that, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recovery is going well.

Following the injury to Marouane Fellaini, the news that our other Belgian beast is fit is great. He’s been an absolute assassin in front of goal for the Red Devils, and he’ll love to get one over on Manchester United’s fiercest rivals on Saturday.

Phil Jones has been outstanding this season and it would have been an absolute travesty if he couldn’t play at Anfield due to injury. Now, it looks as though he’ll be good to go – partnering Eric Bailly at the heart of our back line once again.

These are the types of matches that will set the cat amongst the pigeons, and I must admit, I’m feeling good about our chances. Liverpool’s defence is horrific and we simply have to take full advantage of that and get another three points on the board.
