Manchester United’s hopes of signing Alexis Sanchez have been boosted, as the Arsenal playing squad want the 29-year-old sold before their next home game against Crystal Palace, which takes place this Saturday.
That’s according to the Evening Standard, who claim that Gunners players are growing weary with the ongoing Sanchez saga, and they just want it to be over with.
To be honest, you can hardly blame them. They all know that Sanchez has wanted to leave since the start of the season, and that’s probably playing a part as to why Arsenal are in such poor form right now.
That toxic dressing room will be hurting everyone, and the sooner this deal is worked out, the better it’ll be for all involved.
I guess now it’s just a waiting game. United will be wanting to get the best deal for themselves, while Arsenal will be trying to get every last penny from their Premier League rivals. Hopefully, this deal is all worked out before weekend and we’ll see Sanchez take on Burnley in our colours, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one drag on for a little while yet…
