Man United have already made their first moves to sign Benjamin Sesko.
With the Cristiano Ronaldo saga still dragging on, Manchester United need to draw up a back-up plan. It can be argued the Old Trafford club already needed to acquire another forward, even before the Portuguese star decided he wanted out…
Benjamin Sesko is a relatively new name to many, with the striker linked with a potential Reds switch over the last few days. According to the latest information, United were monitoring the 19-year-old.
Well, Slovenian media outlet, Sport Klub, have further news for us on Sesko’s future. The talented teenager looked impressive in a pre-season friendly against Liverpool yesterday, scoring the only goal.
Sport Klub state that Sesko is enjoying his pre-season, before getting on the subject of United interest. They state that the young man is already in the ‘spotlight’, while attracting interest from some ‘big European clubs’.
Apparently, United’s interest has ‘raised the most dust’, while the Reds have ‘already sent an offer’ to sign the player this summer.
On top of that, Sesko’s agent, Elvis Bašanović, has already met with Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund and talked about the future of the talented teenager.
Salzburg’s stance is clear. They want to keep ahold of Sesko as they don’t want to lose another striker during this window. However, the Slovenian’s future has been declared ‘week-to-week’, with plenty of time still left in the transfer window.
It goes without saying, United will need an out-and-out striker if Ronaldo leaves. Sesko is obviously immensely talented, but is he ready to make the jump up to the Premier League?
The attacker looked sharp against Liverpool in a pre-season game yesterday, but whether he can do that on a regular basis remains to be seen…
Do you think Benjamin Sesko would be a good addition? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

Why not buy and loan him back for the season to gain further experience. United have a habit lately on not taking decent young strikers when they get the chance then when they go back in later the price is massive and due to such as no Champions League they lose out to such as City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Even now Spurs.
IF HE WANT’S TO GO LET HIM BUY OUT HIS CONTRACT AND THE SOONER THE BETTER, HE QUIT THE OLD LADY OF TORINO JUST LIKE THAT AND UTD PAID TO SIGN HIM SO PAY UP AND GOOD BYE
