Man United have a new striker in their youth ranks, in the form of Gabriele Biancheri.

Manchester United are a side who have always placed great emphasis on youth. It’s helped them get to where they are today.

United continue to monitor every corner of the globe looking for the latest prospects, with Erik ten Hag continuing to give young players their opportunity in the first-team.

Well, according to Fabrizio Romano‘s latest information, United have a ‘deal completed’ to sign young striker, Gabriele Biancheri.

To further add to that, the medical tests for Biancheri are already done, with a four-year deal in place. United had to beat out competition from two or three English clubs to sign the young man from Cardiff City.

Aged just sixteen, Biancheri is obviously one for the future as opposed to the here and now, though United have some of the finest scouts in the world and I don’t doubt that this kid is supremely talented.

It’s said time and time again, though there’s no better place to be as a young player than Old Trafford. Just ask Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. Both of whom are on the fringes of the first-team at this moment.

Biancheri will need time to settle into his new surroundings, though United will always be patient with young players. The fact that he’s been given a four-year contract is an indicator as to how highly the club value this young man.

No doubt he’ll begin with the U18 age group, before slowly being moved up to more senior teams, with a view to Biancheri eventually becoming a regular starter for the first team.

Welcome to the club, Gabriele!
