Man United have Josip Juranovic on transfer radar

Man United have earmarked Josip Juranovic as someone who can solve their right-back problems.

Erik ten Hag has upgraded his left-back position by adding Tyrell Malacia to the club this summer, with the Dutchman now looking over at the other full-back position.

Diogo Dalot started the opener and he continues to leave me scratching my head, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka seems to have been completely frozen out by the new Reds gaffer.

Max Aarons is the most recent name linked with filling that position in the side, though he’s not the only option. believe the Red Devils could turn to Scotland champions Celtic to find the answer. Namely, Josip Juranovic.

The Croatia international only made the move to Celtic last summer, though he enjoyed an impressive debut campaign for The Bhoys.

So much so that Juranovic is attracting interest from both United and Chelsea.

The report claims that the 26-year-old is now on ‘Man United’s radar’ as a ‘possible solution’ to their right-back issues. 90min add that Wan-Bissaka will be allowed to leave this summer, though Ten Hag wants an upgrade on the aforementioned Dalot.

It is believed Celtic would consider a sale, though they’ll demand in excess of £15m to let Juanovic leave during this window.

I don’t watch an awful lot of Scottish football, though the fact that both Chelsea and United are keen leads me to believe that this guy can play.

For Ten Hag, it’s all about finding players that fit seamlessly into his system. Juranovic is someone who must be able to contribute effectively on both sides of the ball. Though I’d take anyone at this point as Dalot blatantly isn’t good enough to start in a side with genuine trophy aspirations.
