Man United could move for Inter Milan striker, Lautaro Martinez, this coming summer…

With Anthony Martial consistently injured, don’t be surprised to see the Old Trafford club spend big on a new front man. Several names have been linked, including the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.
Today, another face has been thrown into the mix; Lautaro Martinez.
It’s Team Talk with the story. They say that United are set to ‘battle it out’ with Chelsea and Arsenal in order to sign the Inter Milan man this summer.
According to the report, the 25-year-old ‘figures highly’ on United’s wanted list, as well as the other two Premier League teams linked, going into the summer transfer window.
Martinez has been in sensational form since returning from the World Cup, scoring seven goals in his last nine games for the Serie A side.
Inter Milan currently have some financial issues, meaning they could be forced to cash in on Martinez at the end of the season. United-linked right-back, Denzel Dumfries, is also another player who could be sold. However, Argentine Martinez would command a higher fee.
Martinez is a striker who often blows hot and cold, though when he’s on his A-game, there are not many better forwards in world football. There’s no doubt he’d be a considerable upgrade on United’s current options. Though I’d much prefer a move for Osimhen or Kane. Granted, both may not be up for sale when the window opens.
