Man United hold talks with representatives of City star about possible transfer: report

Manchester United Football Club have apparently held talks with the representatives of Manchester City’s Joe Hart. That’s what the BBC are claiming anyway, who adds that West Ham United are also keen on signing the 30-year-old shot-stopper.

It is believed that Jose Mourinho is an admirer of Hart’s, but the preference right now is to keep hold of David de Gea; who is obviously by far the better player.

This would just be bizarre if this move happened. How underwhelming would it be if we replaced one of the best in the business with a man who became a flop whilst plying his trade for our closest rivals?

He’s just not that good in all honesty, is he? Hart makes so many mistakes in important matches, and at times, he has cost his side due to fatal errors. It tells you all you need to know that he spent last season on loan with Torino in the Serie A. He just isn’t cut out for a top club.

I’d much rather give Sergio Romero a real shot at claiming the number one jersey in the event that David de Gea did leave, because, in my opinion, the Argentine is by far the better player.
