Man United in pole position to make Paulo Dybala signing: report

It was just over 24 hours ago when a story we covered from Tuttosport claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had told Manchester United to go out and sign Paulo Dybala – with a contract offer already on the table.

Well, Tuttosport are back at it again in their Thursday print edition, translated via Sport Witness. Today, they’re claiming there is interest from the Red Devils, while again stating that Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham are still keen.

They make it clear that it’s United who are in ‘pole position’ and ‘on the front row’ to make the signing of the 25-year-old, though…

Furthermore, Tuttosport add that Dybala would form a ‘dream partnership’ with a certain Marcus Rashford should he make the move to Old Trafford. Thursday print.

With United having no Champions League football on the table, the article states that the Reds would have to compensate Dybala by offering him a ‘super contract’ which certainly sounds expensive…

Juventus themselves still want a fee of €80-€100m (£71-90m) to let the attacker leave, while Tuttosport reckon that Spurs are a ‘step behind’ the Reds in the chase of the mega-talented Argentine.

What I like most about Dybala is his versatility. This is a young man who can play as the main striker or just in-behind if needs be. He’s got a real eye for goal while his on-ball vision is exceptional. There’s no doubt that he’d improve United at this point in time, but I’m not sure I see Solskjaer adding another body up top unless Romelu Lukaku leaves…
