Ah, it has been a couple of days since we’ve covered a story regarding Jadon Sancho, but this fine Sunday, we’re back at it again.

The update comes from the usually reliable Football Insider, who have been spot on with Red Devils transfer stories recently. This time, they state that United are in ‘pole position’ to sign the superstar 20-year-old Sancho.

Further good news has been provided by FI, who adds that United’s big rival, Liverpool, have ‘no intention of getting into a bidding war’ with the Old Trafford outfit,

Jurgen Klopp, like many other managers, are huge admirers of Sancho. However, the Englishman is set to cost £100million and with everything that’s going on in the world right now, that suddenly becomes far less viable for the majority of clubs.

That gives United a huge boost, and I get the opinion that the Reds could well get a free run at Sancho, should they so choose to pursue him hard enough.

Credit to Borussia Dortmund, by the way. They only paid £8million to sign Sancho a couple of years ago. They’re set to make at least ten-times that transfer fee back. And people wonder why Erling Haaland chose to move to the Westfalonstadion? They’re going to make him a superstar…
