Man United in race to sign exciting winger, Bazoumana Toure

Man United are apparently in the race to sign Hammarby winger, Bazoumana Toure.

Manchester United have never shied away from giving young players a chance. The Old Trafford side have displayed an excellent tendency to sign talented teenagers from all over the globe, before giving them a platform to thrive at the highest level.

Here at Old Trafford Faithful, we’re firm believers in ensuring that mantra remains a part of the Red Devils’ core DNA. It’s why whenever a younger, unknown name is signed, my personal excitement levels grow far more than when the club make a move for a big-name, established footballer.

The latest transfer rumour links United with a move to sign Bazoumana Traore, who currently plies his trade for Hammarby in the Swedish league.

It’s The Mirror with the claim. They state that United are among the sides who are now ‘keeping tabs’ on the exciting 18-year-old winger.

After making a ‘huge impression’ in Sweden, Traore is now valued at around £5m by Hammarby, having amassed six goals and three assists already this term.

Traore can play on either flank and there’s no doubt that Ten Hag will be looking at his versatility as the biggest attraction as things stand.

As is always the case with younger players, you never quite know how quickly they’re going to develop as footballers. In fact, there’s no guarantee at all that they’re going to make it at the highest level, so there is always some risk involved.

However, there’s no better place to hone your trade than at the Theatre of Dreams. This is the home of giving young players an opportunity and no doubt Traore would jump at the chance to make the move to Salford Quays if the opportunity arises.

Do you think a Man United move to sign Bazoumana Toure would make sense? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
