Man United have made Jadon Sancho their transfer priority ahead of the summer transfer window.
Make no mistake about it, this upcoming summer window is huge for Manchester United Football Club and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
This side still needs a few big signings in order to challenge for the Premier League title and once again it’s Jadon Sancho sitting atop the wishlist.
According to The Telegraph, United and Solskjaer have made signing the 21-year-old a transfer ‘priority’ this summer. The Englishman has enjoyed a top season for Borussia Dortmund, with his stock continuing to rise.
If you believe previous reports we’ve covered from the MEN, Sancho himself is ‘pushing’ for a move back to his homeland, meaning it could be the perfect time to strike for the Old Trafford club.
The situation isn’t without incident, though. According to The Telegraph, several United players are actually pushing for a move to sign Jack Grealish instead. While I appreciate the sentiment and Grealish’s talents as a player, the final decision lays at the door of the manager.
Sancho’s story becomes even more fascinating when we take a look at what Bild stated yesterday, as they claim the Englishman has been told he can leave the Westfalonstadion this summer – meaning United could well have a great chance at making this move happen.
Make no mistake about it. Sancho would improve our side massively, though I would worry about him stunting the growth of Amad Diallo and Anthony Elanga.
Players like Sancho don’t come around very often, though, and if United really do want to sign him, they better act quickly and get a deal done before other clubs start being made aware of how easy it could be to obtain the 21-year-old this summer.
