Manchester United Football Club would have to make Tottenham Hotspur an outrageous offer if they are to part with Danny Rose this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph. However, Chelsea are also keen on signing the 27-year-old, despite the fact that he is currently out injured.
Rose was linked with a potential move to Old Trafford earlier on in the window, but this latest rumour about the fact that they’d have to make such a big offer may well put them off.
As we all know, Spurs earned somewhere around £50million from the sale of Kyle Walker, and they’d now probably want even more for Rose given the fact that time is running out to try and replace the left-back.
There is sometimes a limit, and regarding this move, it has probably been exceeded. We have to weigh up the situation as a whole, and take into consideration that Luke Shaw is still on our books and until he gets back fit, we have Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind; who aren’t awful options.
The more pressing matter, in my opinion, has to be the left-wing spot. Yes, both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial played well out there against West Ham, but they’ve lacked in consistency and that is what we desperately need.
