Representatives of Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to meet with Arsenal chiefs this week.
That’s according to journalist Patrick Juillard, with the 30-year-old midfielder seemingly assessing his options before his Red Devils contract runs out at the end of June.
Fellaini became a key member of Jose Mourinho’s setup at Old Trafford, but it looks as though he’s tempted to move away from Manchester – following a five-year stint following a move from Everton Football Club.
This saga has dragged on for quite some time already, and it looks as though that’s set to continue up until the World Cup starts in just under two weeks; by which point I’m sure the midfielder will have made his final decision.

At first, I was all for keeping Fellaini around. As a plan B, there are certainly worse options to have available, but after learning that he’s basically holding the club to ransom, my tune changed and I wanted him to leave.
On his part, you can certainly understand why he’s trying to eek out every available penny. At this point in his career, this will likely be his last big contract and at the end of the day; he has to do what’s best for his family.
