Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini is on the verge of leaving Old Trafford, with the midfielder having no shortage of options.
According to the Daily Mirror per The Metro, six clubs have contacted Fellaini’s representatives about the possibility of taking the midfielder on a free transfer when his United deal expires in the summer.
Amongst those sides are Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and AS Monaco; which tells you everything you need to know about Fellaini’s overall ability.
Although the majority will be happy to see the back of the Belgium international, I’ll be pretty disappointed to see him depart. He brings something different to the table and having him in and around the squad certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.
However, you can hardly blame him for leaving. No doubt he’ll be getting a hefty wage increase wherever he ends up, plus, he’ll be going to a club where the fans appreciate him for what he is; too many times he’s been ironically cheered, or even booed by his own ‘fans’. Why on earth should he stick around when that’s happening?
Sadly, it does look like he’s leaving and I wish him luck wherever he ends up.
