Man United midfielder’s agent trying to get superstar out of Old Trafford this summer: report

Manchester United could well be about to lose arguably their best player, with Mino Raiola trying to find Paul Pogba an escape route out of Old Trafford.

That’s according to the usually excellent Duncan Castles, per the Manchester Evening News. Castles says that Juventus are working on a deal to bring the Frenchman back to Turin, while FC Barcelona also remains interested.

Pogba’s time back at the Theatre of Dreams has been pretty average. We’ve seen glimpses of his immense ability and skill, but the consistency has certainly been lacking; whether or not that’s down to the manager remains to be seen.

After enjoying an excellent World Cup with France, I think it’s completely fair for Pogba to demand more from his domestic football. Why shouldn’t he? He proved to everyone just how good he can be with the right players around him in the right system.

Obviously, everyone at United needs him to stay. Pogba makes the team better even when he’s playing bad, and over the last twelve months, he certainly did get better while wearing our famous red jersey.

With time running out in the transfer window, there is little-to-no-time to sort out a replacement. I’d be surprised if Edward Woodward sanctioned a move for him at this late stage.
