Man United have eyes on Brazil and PSG star Neymar, ahead of a huge summer transfer window.

Manchester United are preparing for a huge summer transfer window. Erik ten Hag needs to continue to mould this squad into one that suits his playing style perfectly.

Much is still up in the air in terms of club ownership, though even if the Glazer family remain in charge, they have to back their manager.

Amongst the main needs is a genuine goalscorer. Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen have both been heavily linked with potential switches. Over the last 24 hours a new name has been thrown into the mix; Neymar…

According to Foot Mercato (In French), United are monitoring the world-class 31-year-old – though they’ll face competition from Chelsea.

Apparently, the Brazil international is expected to leave his current club this summer.

Neymar has been one of the best players in the world for the last decade, so it makes sense to see United at least showing an interest in bringing him in.

However, you have serious doubts about his fitness. Neymar always picks up niggling injuries that derail his season. He’s much like Anthony Martial in that regard.

Depending on transfer fee, I’d still look at getting this done. Neymar is someone who can strike fear into the eyes of any opponent when he’s on-song, while his name alone would be massive for the brand.

I always tend to believe United do better when they avoid the big-name signings, though the lure of acquiring one of the best players on the planet is simply too great to ignore.

I still don’t think this will happen, but it’ll be intriguing to see how this saga pans out.

Do you think a Man United move for Neymar would make sense? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
