Man United are said to be pushing hard to sign Noussair Mazraoui from FC Bayern Munich.
Manchester United Football Club have made a couple of signings so far, with Erik ten Hag strengthening the playing squad with two quality additions. Further names will have to be added if the Red Devils are serious about pushing hard for major pieces of silverware.
A right-back could be next on the agenda, though it could be dependent on Aaron Wan-Bissaka being sold on first.
Among the names most heavily linked with an Old Trafford switch is Noussair Mazraoui. However, it felt like West Ham United were closing in on a deal to sign the man from Morocco.
There may be hope for the 20-time Premier League champions yet, with Florian Plettenberg confirming that the Hammers’ deal to sign the right-back is now off.
Now, United are said to be ‘pushing’ to sign the full-back, with the Reds said to be in ‘advanced’ talks to bring in Mazraoui.

This is smart by INEOS. They’ve waited for West Ham to agree a fee, then came in with the same offer, meaning they have not allowed the price to be driven up as soon as the Red Devils show interest.
Mazraoui has previously worked with Ten Hag during his Ajax days, as the Old Trafford club looks to continue surrounding their manager with familiarity.
In terms of stylistic fit, Mazraoui is far better suited to this system than the aforementioned Wan-Bissaka, which is probably the main reason why a move is being made.
