Manchester United Football Club are ready to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Juventus, as part of a player-plus-cash deal to land left-back Alex Sandro, according to The Sun in an exclusive.
However, the Red Devils will face stiff competition for the Brazilian’s signature, with Chelsea also keen on the star who isn’t having the best of times in Turin at the moment.
Mkhitaryan has seemingly fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho, as the 28-year-old hasn’t featured in United’s last five matches, now, he could be about to exit Old Trafford for good if Juventus are interested in taking the Armenia star.
The report goes on to suggest that Juve would actually prefer a player-plus-cash deal involving Daley Blind, which again, would probably suit Mourinho as the versatile Dutchman hasn’t been playing recently either.
Failing that, the Serie A giants would accept a straight-up cash offer if it came down to it, purely to get rid of Sandro who hasnt’ been playing his best football recently.
Left-back has been a problem area for United, probably ever since Patrice Evra left. Sandro is by far a better option than both Luke Shaw and Ashley Young, so it certainly makes sense to move in for the Brazilian.
