Man United offer struggling star to Inter, could subsidise wages: report

It’s fair to say that Alexis Sanchez’s Manchester United journey has been a forgettable one.

The Chilean hasn’t settled in well at Old Trafford, and after eighteen months, it seems as though the Red Devils have already had enough.

According to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri, United have offered Sanchez to Inter Milan, while the Red Devils could be prepared to subsidise the 30-year-old’s wages, presumably until his Red Devils contract officially expires in eighteen months’ time.

Let’s be honest here, United were never going to find a side willing to take him on and pay for Sanchez’s huge £500k-a-week wage. What’s crazy is the fact that The Glazer family will still probably be paying him more money than Inter will do, should the deal go through of course…

Not only does Sanchez look like he has nothing left to give, the Chile international has disrupted the harmony within the dressing room – which eventually cost Jose Mourinho his job at the Theatre of Dreams.

All-in-all, this move just hasn’t worked out whatsoever and I’d argue that it’s probably the worst signing in United’s history and trust me when I say we’ve had some shockers in the past.

Sometimes, addition by subtraction is the best way to move forward. It seems like this would be the best thing for all involved and I genuinely hope that Sanchez rediscovers his best form in the Serie A.
