Man United have offered a couple of players to the Saudi Pro League.

Manchester United Football Club have wasted money aplenty of late. There’s no getting away from that pure fact. The Glazer regime has provided many examples of that.

We’re now in the Sir Jim Ratcliffe era. Before this club can move forward, it’s about righting the wrongs and moving on from these guys.

As a starting point, United have offered a surplus to requirements duo to the Saudi Pro League clubs, in an effort to recoup the money spent on them. That’s according to the Evening Standard. The players up for sale are both Antony and Jadon Sancho.

The latter is no surprise, with Sancho currently away on loan at Borussia Dortmund after a major fallout with Erik ten Hag. Antony is more surprising. He’s a Ten Hag signing, though the fact he is now deemed not good enough isn’t new information. We’ve all witnessed his performances this season with our own two eyes, even if he’s being given a pass from the gaffer due to off-field issues.

According to the report, United want £50m each for both Sancho and Antony. We have to be honest. That’s just not happening, particularly in Sancho’s case. The whole world United want rid of him. Why would they pay such an astronomical fee? Particularly when it was pure loan interest in the mid-season window.

Antony, who cost United £70m+, has been poor. Again, I do not see anyone out there paying close to £50m for his signature. Even the big-money Saudi sides who are looking to boost their league by bringing in these iconic footballers.

Do you think either Jadon Sancho or Antony will head to the Saudi Pro League? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
