Man United have officially unveiled their 2022/23 away kit.
Well, the leaks in regards to Manchester United’s away kit were plentiful, though there was a common theme – a white strip.
Credit to Footy Headlines, who were once again bang on the money way ahead of time, being the first with the scoop and breaking this news story early.
Now, a month or two later, the club have officially confirmed their away strip for the upcoming season – and as you can see from the photos below it’s an absolute beauty.
Inspired by the philosophy of ‘youth, courage and success’ this classic white jersey is the first time United have donned this colour since the 2016/17 season. The overall theme behind the jersey is to represent elements of the 1990s, during which the Reds thrived with a core of young players.
Playing their part to be environmentally friendly, United and Adidas have made this shirt purely out of recycled materials, again using the HEAT.RDY technology to regulate body temperature and keep the wearer cool.

I’ll be honest, these days it’s rare that United come up with a kit I like. But for Adidas to create two really nice jerseys in one season? Very well played indeed.
The classic white jersey with black shorts has always been my favourite combination. Factor in the tradition Adidas ‘Three Stripe’ on the shoulders and shielded crest, this truly is a thing of beauty.
The throwback idea is also another big selling point. Under Erik ten Hag, United are looking to return to former glories, so why not do it in a kit that remembers our rich history?
