David de Gea – Couldn’t do anything at all about the goal as it was from point-blank range. 5/10

Diogo Dalot – Didn’t really affect the game in the final third. Defended decently enough. 4/10

Victor Lindelof – Just not good enough. So shaky when defending in the vital moments. 3/10

Lisandro Martinez – So-so. Wasn’t the worst player out there, but kind of strolled through the match somewhat casually. 5/10

Tyrell Malacia – Defensively really poor for the Omonia opener. Got caught out. Hooked at half-time. 3/10

Casemiro – Looked a little slow. These are the sort of games he should be bossing with one hand tied behind his back. Worrying. 3/10

Christian Eriksen – Hit and miss. Worked tirelessly on both sides of the ball but the end product was often lacking. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Careless. Always moaning at the referee. Sloppy in possession. Not good enough from the skipper. 3/10

Jadon Sancho – Super quiet. Hooked at half-time after not getting into the match at all. 3/10

Antony – United’s best attacker that started, particularly in that first 45. 5/10

Cristiano Ronaldo – Doesn’t look suited to this system. Had a couple of half-chances. Missed an open goal. Everything was bouncing off him. 3/10

Subs:

Marcus Rashford – Changed the game with his hunger and desire. Scored the leveller with a lovely finish. Set up Martial with a fantastic bit of play. Scored the eventual winner.

Luke Shaw – Nice to see him back out there.

Anthony Martial – Banged one in with practically his first involvement. Stunning. Continues to impress.
