David de Gea – His monumental error cost United dearly. It swung the momentum in West Ham’s favour and they never looked back. 2/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Solid enough defensively and did try to get into some attacking positions. 5/10
Victor Lindelof – Continued to play well. Dealt with Antonio positively for large portions of the game. Won his header. 6/10
Luke Shaw – Also had some good tussles with Antonio. Still looks good enough to fill in at centre-back. 5/10
Tyrell Malacia – Had a mixed game. Made some rash decisions at times, though also did make some important tackles. 5/10
Casemiro – He hasn’t quite looked the same since returning from suspension. A yard off it again here. 4/10
Christian Eriksen – Wasn’t afforded the time on the ball he needs to make an impact on a game. 4/10
Bruno Fernandes – Started brightly and looked like United’s biggest threat but faded as the game wore on. 5/10
Antony – Had a couple of half-chances. Started well. Wasn’t involved much in the second half. 5/10
Marcus Rashford – Looked sharp in certain moments, but drifted out of the game for large stretches at times. 4/10
Wout Weghorst – Had one half-chance of note, but that was about it. Continued to work hard. Lacks that cutting edge. 4/10
Subs:
Anthony Martial – Didn’t change the game at all.
Jadon Sancho – Not involved as much as United needed.
Marcel Sabitzer – Worked hard.
Diogo Dalot – Not enough time to mark.
Fred – Not enough time to mark.
