Our player ratings form the 1-0 narrow Man United victory vs Copenhagen are now in.

Andre Onana – His distribution was worrying at times. That’s what he was signed for and it was often wayward. Wasn’t really tested in the shot-stopping department until making an excellent penalty save late on. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Played in a couple of teasing balls to create some decent chances. Tried to get forward wherever possible. Caught out of position at a key moment late on. 4/10

Raphael Varane – Wasn’t really given many options to pass the ball forward at times. Defended well enough. 6/10

Harry Maguire – Was a little careless early on which allowed Copenhagen a big chance. Calmed down after that and scored a superb header to put the Reds in front. 7/10

Sergio Reguilon – Nice to see him back out there. Did try to go beyond Rashford wherever possible. Lasted an hour on his injury return. 4/10

Sofyan AmrabatHad a mixed game. Won possession back and tried to get United back on the front foot. Sometimes was bypassed far too easily. Hooked at half-time. 4/10

Scott McTominay – Felt like United’s biggest goal threat in the first half which is a major concern. Did well enough. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – Barely had a kick in the first 45 minutes. Drifted around way too much. Had no influence. Played a wonderful ball through to Garnacho in the second half. 4/10

Antony – Pretty poor. He’s so one footed and it makes it hard for him to do some simple things. Didn’t really threaten. Subbed off. 3/10

Marcus Rashford – Had a couple of half-chances. Was far too quiet for large stretches. He needed to get on the ball more and attack. The workrate is worrying at times. 4/10

Rasmus Hojlund – Led the line relatively well despite a lack of service. Worked hard and managed to find himself in some decent positions. 5/10

Subs:

Christian Eriksen – Seemed to help swing the pendulum in United’s favour. Certainly livened up the lads when he came on.

Victor Lindelof – Made a huge block when it looked like Copenhagen were through on goal. Defended well.

Alejandro Garnacho – Was through on goal but it was ruined by a bad touch. Definitely threatened down that left-hand side.

Anthony Martial – Not enough time to mark.
