Man United player ratings during 1-1 draw vs Chelsea (2022/23)

David de Gea – Didn’t have a save of note to make. Couldn’t stop the Jorginho penalty. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Had a poor first half. Struggled with ball at feet. Did improve a lot in the second half. 5/10

Raphael Varane – Had an awesome game until going down with what looked like a pretty severe injury. Fingers crossed. 7/10

Lisandro Martinez – An absolute warrior yet again. Defended so resolutely and was good in the passing game. 8/10

Luke Shaw – Good. Defended well. Tried to get forward where possible. His cross for the late leveller was inch-perfect. 7/10

Casemiro – Has looked excellent recently. Today was probably his best all-round game. His header for the winner was nothing short of stupendous. 9/10

Christian Eriksen – Picked up some nice pockets of space. Got United moving forward whenever he had possession. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Kept it more simple than usual. Always working hard to win the ball back. 6/10

Jadon Sancho – Struggled. Gave it away far too cheaply. Looked scared to try take on his man. 3/10

Antony – Hit and miss. Dazzled with his skill on occasion. Sometimes quiet. Missed a big chance. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Also missed a decent chance. Looked to threaten with his pace. 5/10

Subs:

Victor Lindelof – Did well in place of Varane.

Fred – Kept it simple.

Scott McTominay – Gave away a needless penalty.

Anthony Elanga – His speed gave Chelsea some serious issues.
