Man United player ratings during 1-1 draw vs Crystal Palace

David de Gea – Made some heroic saves to keep United in front until the late equaliser which he couldn’t do anything about. 7/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – The best player on the pitch. His defensive work in the one-on-one situation against Zaha was immense. That last-ditch tackle deep into injury time eventually earned us a point. 9/10

Raphael Varane – Did well throughout. Good with the ball at feet. 6/10

Lisandro Martinez – Carried the ball nicely from the back. Was more than able to pick the right forward passes. 6/10

Luke Shaw – Also excellent. Defensively solid. Worked his socks off for 90 minutes. Tried to get forward wherever possible. 7/10

Casemiro – Outstanding for 80 minutes. Then picked up a booking after some careless United play. Now missing for Arsenal away. 7/10

Christian Eriksen – His movement and intelligent passing created the chance for the United goal. Good. 7/10

Bruno Fernandes – Scored the Reds goal with a lovely finish. Led the press. Quiet at times. 6/10

Antony – Being so one-footed feels like a problem. There were times when he had chances on his right, but he didn’t take them. 4/10

Marcus Rashford – Selfish at times, which you can forgive given his form of late. Ran down a few blind alleys. 3/10

Wout Weghorst A decent enough debut. Played a big part in the United goal taking the defenders away from Bruno. Lacks pace but can become that focal point for us. 6/10

Subs:

Alejandro Garnacho – Didn’t really influence the game.

Scott McTominay – Solid enough when he came on.

Fred – Brought some tenacity to the midfield.
