Dean Henderson – Assertive, in control and made some excellent saves. He was superb. 7/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Did a number on Sterling yet again. Was very good in every aspect of his defending. 7/10
Victor Lindelof – Solid. Played some good balls forward and was always trying to be positive. 7/10
Harry Maguire – Set the right example from first minute to last. Was progressive with the ball at his feet and won his aerial duels. 7/10
Luke Shaw – His sensational season continues. Score a goal which was all his own work and constantly bombed up and down that left-flank. So, so good. 9/10
Scott McTominay – Steady. Evaded the press well but his passing was hit-and-miss. 6/10
Fred – Probably United’s only blot on the day. He could not find a red shirt in that first 45. 4/10
Bruno Fernandes – Scored in the first minute. Led the press well and was great on the counter. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Did not look fit at all but to his credit, he stuck at it. Perhaps he could’ve been better in the final moments but he did a job for the team. 6/10
Daniel James – Was brought in for his pace and work rate. He did exactly the job asked of him for 90 minutes. 7/10
Anthony Martial – Well, I’m not sure where it came from but he was sublime. Won the penalty and caused City problems all afternoon. Probably should have scored as well. 9/10
Subs:
Mason Greenwood – Wasn’t really in the game.
Nemanja Matic – Not enough time to mark.
