Martin Dubravka – Largely unconvincing. Didn’t inspire when playing out from the back. Looked nervous. 3/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – It was nice to see him out there. He looked confident with the ball at feet and contributed a fantastic assist. Some lapses in concentration. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Solid enough. Dealt with the main threats well. Good in the air. 6/10

Casemiro – His coolness never ceases to amaze me. Always so calm and composed. That rubbed off on the rest of the team. 7/10

Tyrell Malacia – A relatively quiet evening for the Dutchman. Solid enough. 5/10

Scott McTominay – Sadly, it felt like moves started to break down when the ball was at his feet. Sloppy passing. 4/10

Christian Eriksen – Scored the opener after making a lovely run into the box. Kept it simple. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – At the heart of everything positive about United’s play as per usual. 6/10

Alejandro Garnacho – Sluggish to start. There were a couple of heavy touches that cost him glorious scoring opportunities. Still looked lively. 5/10

Marcus Rashford The undoubted Player of the Match. Always threatening and scored an incredible solo goal. 8/10

Anthony Martial – Nice to see him lead the line. Did well enough. There was a little rust but that will disappear with more minutes under the belt. 6/10

Subs:

Fred – Solid enough.

Antony – Had a couple of half chances.

Luke Shaw – Brought on to help see out the game.

Brandon Williams – Lovely to see him back out there in United colours.

Anthony Elanga – Relatively quiet.
