Andre Onana – His kicking was better this week. He looked more comfortable in between the sticks. Couldn’t do anything about either goal. 6/10
Noussair Mazraoui – Looked pretty solid for large portions of the game. Defended well. I’d like to see him get forward a little more. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Definitely at fault for the first goal. Had a couple of chances to clear but couldn’t deal with it. Solid aside from that. 5/10
Lisandro Martinez – His passing through the lines was decent. Looked confident in possession. Perhaps somewhat at fault for the late losing goal as he was out of position. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – His back post was completely vacant as Brighton won it late on. An average game at left-back. 5/10
Casemiro – Steady. Defended well enough in midfield. His passing forward was a real mixed bag. 5/10
Kobbie Mainoo – Pretty quiet for large stretches of the game. Wasn’t really given any space in midfield by Brighton. 5/10
Mason Mount – Full of energy. Pressed well and tried to force Brighton into early mistakes. Substituted at half-time. Unclear if injured. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – Wasn’t pressing as often as we’d like. Didn’t really threaten the Brighton full-back either. 4/10
Amad – Offside a few too many times for my liking and a little naive in the first 45. Didn’t let it bother him and improved in the second half. Grabbed a goal. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – Worked tirelessly as per usual. Not really given any chances to play that killer ball through. 6/10

Joshua Zirkzee – Unfortunately hit by the ball on the line to deny Alejandro Garnacho a goal.
Alejandro Garnacho – Looked threatening and should have been rewarded with a goal but for Zirkzee’s body momentum.
Scott McTominay – Looked sharp.
Matthijs de Ligt – Defended well in a couple of situations.
Antony – Not enough time to mark.

If Erik Ten Hag is still not getting it right given his chance at Man.Utd, sadly, it may sound rude as he still has to even listen to some of the fans suggestions sometimes like the change of goal keeper in order to give the other the benefit of doubt.
