Man United player ratings during 2-1 win over Crystal Palace

David de Gea – Made a couple of smart saves. Had a fairly quiet afternoon. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Good defensively. Showed quick feet on a few occasions. Let down by his end product. 6/10

Raphael Varane – As cool, calm and collected as you like. Even when down to 10 men. 6/10

Lisandro Martinez Probably United’s best player on the day. Good with the ball at feet. Made some huge blocks. 8/10

Luke Shaw – Had a cracking game. Picked up a lovely assist for the Rashford goal. Solid defensively. 7/10

Casemiro – Cruised through the first hour, then let his teammates down by picking up a daft red card after putting his hands on the neck of a Palace player… 4/10

Fred – Great in midfield. Worked tirelessly for every single minute. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Set United on their way with a cool penalty. Created some good openings. Led the press well. 6/10

Antony – Drifted in and out of proceedings. Still lacks that cutting edge and direct threat. But kept it simple and ensured United remained in possession. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Always looked lively. Rounded off a team goal with an inch-perfect finish. A constant threat. 7/10

Wout Weghorst – Fairly quiet. Held the ball up well and brought teammates into play. Never looked like scoring. 5/10

Subs:

Alejandro Garnacho – Came on, then subbed off again late.

Marcel Sabitzer – Worked hard for the cause.

Harry Maguire – Defended well.

Victor Lindelof – Did his job.
