Andre Onana – Made a super save to deny Jackson midway through the first half. Was beaten by a tame but well-placed effort. 6/10
Diogo Dalot – Blew hot and cold. Made some important tackles but was sometimes caught out of position. Booked. 5/10
Harry Maguire – Another brilliant defensive display. He was dominant from the off. Won headers. Made tackles galore. Solid. 7/10
Victor Lindelof – Hooked at half-time after allowing Palmer time and space to slot home and equalise. Was decent enough before that. 4/10
Luke Shaw –
Sofyan Amrabat – Had one scary moment as he played the ball across midfield that gave Chelsea a chance. Was neat and tidy after that. His best game for the club. 6/10
Scott McTominay – The man of the moment. Scored two very different goals to ensure United emerged victorious. 8/10
Bruno Fernandes – Worked hard but his final pass was often lacking. He made so many important tackles when tracking back. 6/10
Antony – Very good. Worked hard on both sides of the ball. Was involved in some good United build-up play. 6/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Excellent. Delivered a delicious ball for the second United goal. He consistently looked like United’s biggest threat. 7/10
Rasmus Hojlund – Still waiting for his first league goal but he put in another good display here. Led the line well and pressed hard. 6/10
Subs:
Sergio Reguilon – Looked lively from the left-back position. Got stuck in and tried to get forward. Played some teasing balls in.
Marcus Rashford – Didn’t really get into it.
Jonny Evans – Brought on to help see it out.
