Man United have won the FA Cup! Here are our player ratings from the game.
Andre Onana – Made some top tier saves for the first 75 minutes, though allowed Doku to squeeze one through. A positive game overall. 7/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Superb until Doku came on and gave him a run for his money. Another solid display. 7/10
Raphael Varane – His last game in United colours. We will miss his quality. Used all his experience to help drag the Reds over the line. 7/10
Lisandro Martinez – It was so good to see him back. He put in a monstrous outing until his body gave in. An absolute warrior. 8/10
Diogo Dalot – Untroubled defensively. Tried to get forward wherever possible. Solid. 6/10
Sofyan Amrabat – The underrated star of the show. Mopped up well and gave Kevin de Bruyne nothing throughout. A monstrous display. 8/10
Kobbie Mainoo – The best player on the pitch. So calm and composed on the ball throughout. Worked hard defensively and scored an absolute pearler. Man of the Match. 9/10
Scott McTominay – Worked hard on both sides of the ball. He quietly but effectively went about his job. 6/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Made the most of a City defensive mix-up. Tried to use his pace to get in behind and was a genuine threat. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Looked lively and put in the effort. Did not score but was an important contributor to the victory. 7/10
Bruno Fernandes – Set the captain’s example. His pass into Mainoo for the second was truly unreal. Worked his socks off for 90 minutes. 8/10
Subs:
Jonny Evans – Made some crucial headers.
Rasmus Hojlund – Fought for the badge on his chest and helped wind the clock down.
Mason Mount – Worked hard.
Victor Lindelof – Not enough time to mark.
