David de Gea – Made some saves you’d expect him to make. Couldn’t do anything about either Leeds goal. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Nice to see him back out there following injury. Did his job decently enough. 6/10
Raphael Varane – Largely cool and composed. Did give the ball away a few times. 5/10
Lisandro Martinez – Once again one of United’s best performers. Flew into some important tackles and set the tone. 7/10
Luke Shaw – Drifted in and out of the match. Tried to get forward wherever possible. 6/10
Fred – Really poor. So bad in possession at times and very careless throughout this one. 3/10
Marcel Sabitzer – Did well. Felt like the only United midfielder who played to their level. He’s going to be important for us. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – Far too careless with the ball at feet when United needed to maintain some control on the game. 4/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Not his finest performance, but he’s young and inconsistency is expected. 4/10
Marcus Rashford – United’s only positive threat in the first 45 minutes. Scored a fantastic header to drag his team back into the match. 6/10
Wout Weghorst – Nonexistent as a direct goal threat. Held the ball up well at times. 4/10
Subs:
Facundo Pellistri – His energy helped swing the game in United’s favour.
Jadon Sancho – Brought calmness and control to our attack. Deserved his goal for his contribution off the bench.
Victor Lindelof – Came on in that holding midfield position.
Tyrell Malacia – Didn’t really get into the game.
