Our player ratings from Man United’s 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool are now in…
Andre Onana – Made some important saves at crucial times to keep United in it. His kicking was inconsistent. 6/10
Diogo Dalot – Made some crucial tackles and blocks when United had their backs to the wall. Didn’t really get forward. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Put his head on absolutely everything. His passing out from the back was erratic. 6/10
Willy Kambwala – United’s best player? Probably. Defended like a warrior for 90 minutes. Tried to get the crowd involved and his passion was on full display. Excellent. 8/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Weirdly played at left-back again. Didn’t have to go diving in on Elliott, conceding a late penalty. Average. 4/10
Casemiro – Looked a yard or two off the pace all afternoon. Did make some good tackles and blocks but was often bypassed far too easily. 4/10
Kobbie Mainoo – Scored an absolute stunner to give United a 2-1 lead. Was calm and composed amid the chaos around him. 7/10
Bruno Fernandes – Worked his socks off as per usual. Scored a sublime goal to draw his team level. His passing was below par. 6/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Always offered himself as an outlet. Probably United’s biggest attacking threat before he was subbed off. 5/10
Marcus Rashford – Tried to make things happen, though had an average outing when all was said and done. Came off injured which is concerning. 4/10
Rasmus Hojlund – Yet to get going since returning from injury. The effort was there. The service wasn’t. 4/10
Subs:
Antony – A positive change. He looked sharp. Had a chance to win it late on.
Sofyan Amrabat – Off the pace.
Mason Mount – Picked up a late booking stopping a counter attack.
