David de Gea – Kept United in it in the first half with some incredible saves from point-blank range. 7/10
Diogo Dalot – Defended well. Had a glorious chance to score in the first 45 minutes. Consistently bombed down the right to ping the ball in. 6/10
Victor Lindelof – Came in for Varane and looked solid. Composed with the ball at feet and was positionally solid. 6/10
Lisandro Martinez – Defended aggressively which sometimes left him out of position. His passing was important in the second 45. 6/10
Luke Shaw – The Leicester threat came down his side early, though Shaw adjusted and had it all under control. 6/10
Fred – Had a pretty torrid first half. Gave the ball away constantly. Did play in Rashford for the all-important second. 5/10
Marcel Sabitzer – Neat and tidy. His ‘foul’ on Faes was never a sending off. Looked good. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – A great afternoon. Picked up two assists, his first for the Rashford opener was outrageous. At the heart of everything good about United’s attacking threat. 8/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Drifted in and out of the game. Was involved in some decent attacking moves. Subbed at half-time. 5/10
Marcus Rashford – Scored another brace to keep up his insane form. Always looked like a problem for the Leicester defence. 8/10
Wout Weghorst – Deserved a goal. Had some good chances. Worked his socks off for the cause. An all-round great display. 6/10
Subs:
Jadon Sancho – Helped swing the pendulum further in United’s favour in that #10 slot. Deserved his goal.
Scott McTominay – Lovely to see him back out there.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Defended well.
Anthony Elanga – Looked lively.
Kobbie Mainoo – On late for his Premier League debut.

Congrats to Rashford our hero. Congrats to Jadon Sancho who did so well with their scoring and missing so many by our man Martinez and also Bruno our leader and the brilliant passer Garnacho and his missing of a goal. If United want to move higher, they can but that they would have to play faster and be alert with their passing and not only Rashford and Garnacho running forward with the ball, there must be more running confidently with the ball rather than them passing to each other too many times.
