David de Gea – Made a couple of smart saves when Nottingham Forest were pushing for a way back into the game. Distribution average. 6/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Decent enough defensively. Was caught out a couple of times. Did his job in that aspect. Not great going forward. 5/10
Victor Lindelof – Never instils confidence on the rest of the defence. Culpable for the Forest equaliser that was then ruled out. 4/10
Lisandro Martinez – I love this man. He’s more than willing to throw his body on the line at all times. Ready to win at all costs. Excellent again. 7/10
Tyrell Malacia – Rarely troubled down his side. Defended well. Showed some good feet to get by his man a few times. Played well. 6/10
Casemiro – Great to see him back out there, though was given a tough time by an excellent Gibbs-White. 5/10
Christian Eriksen – Awesome. Always picked the right pass and made positive runs throughout the tie. Tired as the game wore on but his effect was clear. 7/10
Bruno Fernandes – Sloppy at times, but you’re always going to get that with his style of play. Did score the third to wrap up the match. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – Clinical again. Scored to set United on their way. Always looked like a threat. 7/10
Antony – Unpopular opinion; I thought he was good. Kept the ball well and helped create some good chances. Should have rounded off a lovely team move in the first-half, though. 6/10
Wout Weghorst – Great. Held the ball up well. Brought teammates into play nicely and tucked his first United goal away with a lovely strike. 7/10
Subs:
Alejandro Garnacho – His touch let him down a couple of times.
Fred – Came on to help see out the game.
Facundo Pellistri – Looked lively.
Anthony Elanga – Brought on late.
