David de Gea – Made a horrendous error to gift Everton a way back into the match. Did make up for it with some important stops. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – Nice to see him back in the line-up. Steady enough. Not as effective as you’d like in the final third. 5/10
Raphael Varane – Super composed throughout. Wasn’t threatened aerially as the Everton danger came from out wide. 6/10
Luke Shaw – Filled in nicely at centre-half again. Did his job well. 6/10
Tyrell Malacia – Wasn’t afraid to get stuck in. Showed great pace when Everton were breaking a couple of times. 6/10
Casemiro – Cruised through the first 70 minutes without any real trouble. Subbed, presumably with rest in mind. 6/10
Christian Eriksen – Kept it pretty simple. Ensured United were moving in the right direction. 5/10
Bruno Fernandes – Led the press. Consistently involved. Tested Pickford a couple of times. 5/10
Antony – Scored the opener with a lovely finish. Pretty quiet after that until showing off some Brazilian trickery late on. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – Looked like the biggest goal threat. Caused all sorts of problems down the left side. Was involved heavily in the second. Scored a penalty late to seal it. /10
Anthony Martial – Worked hard. Had a couple of half-chances. Didn’t really impact the game too much. 5/10
Subs:
Fred – Got into it with a couple of Everton players.
Alejandro Garnacho – Looked fairly lively.
Harry Maguire – Brought on to see out the win.
Scott McTominay – Brought on to see out the win.
Lisandro Martinez – Given a heroes reception when brought on late.
