Andre Onana – Looked super composed with the ball at feet for the entire game. Perhaps could have done better for the Rice goal. 7/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Put in an excellent defensive display, particularly in the second 45 against an in-form Martinelli. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Did well for the most part. Had to go off injured in the second half. 6/10

Lisandro Martinez – Solid enough against the Arsenal attackers. Another who succumbed to injury. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Switched to left-back due to mass injury problems and did a super job on Saka. Arguably United’s best player on the day. 8/10

Casemiro – Had a decent game for the most part. Protected the back four well but did look tired as the game wore on. 6/10

Christian Eriksen – His work for the Rashford goal was sublime. Won it back and played a super ball. Caught out at times defensively. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Pretty quiet. We need more from him when in possession in these big games. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Stepped up big time in the first half when given his first sniff of a chance. 6/10

Antony Probably United’s most consistent forward. Tracked back defensively and looked good when carrying the ball. 7/10

Anthony Martial – Awful. Looked sluggish and was not involved at all. Hooked. 4/10

Subs:

Rasmus Hojlund – Added some extra quality to the attack. A decent cameo.

Harry Maguire – Didn’t really instil confidence in the rest of the team.

Alejandro Garnacho – Thought he’d won it late. I still think he was onside…

Jonny Evans – Came on due to injury. Struggled with Arsenal’s pace.
