David de Gea – Could have done better for Everton’s first and third. It was a poor spill out right to the Everton man. Then he just wasn’t brave enough. 2/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Continued his improvement in an attacking sense by picking up an assist. Steady. 5/10
Victor Lindelof – In games like this, you just don’t feel comfortable with the ‘Ice Man’ back there. He looked far too shaky. 3/10
Harry Maguire – At fault for Everton’s second. I just wish he had a little more pace… 4/10
Luke Shaw – Picked up another assist with a delicious ball in. Could’ve done better for the Everton leveller. 5/10
Scott McTominay – Had an excellent game from the middle of the park. Won tackles, kept it simple and got himself in amongst it to restore United’s lead. 8/10
Paul Pogba – Started steadily but had to be subbed off with what looked like a thigh problem. Hopefully, he’s not out for too long. 5/10
Bruno Fernandes – Scored an absolute beauty to make it 2-0. Constantly tried to make things happen. 7/10
Mason Greenwood – Looked super-sharp from minute one. Made some great runs down the byline and worked his socks off for 90 minutes. All that was missing was a goal. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – His ball into Cavani to open the scoring was a pearler. Had a couple of chances to score but chose the wrong option. 5/10
Edinson Cavani – He’s lethal. Scored a lovely header and led the line wonderfully-well. 8/10
Subs:
Fred – Did ok. Just don’t shoot please Fred…!
Axel Tuanzebe – Brought on to run the clock down. Ended up switching off to allow Calvert-Lewin to level it up…
