Man United player ratings during 4-0 win over Real Sociedad

Dean Henderson – In truth, didn’t have an awful lot to do. Commanded his area well and wasn’t afraid to shout orders at his teammates. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Picked up an early yellow card and made some rash tackles. Was steady. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Positionally excellent on more than one occasion. Played some really nice balls forward too. 7/10

Eric Bailly – Won plenty of headers and cut out a few dangerous situations. 6/10

Alex Telles – Tried to make things happen and whipped some lovely balls into the box. Decent. 5/10

Scott McTominay – Made some nice runs forward. Always offered himself as an outlet to receive the ball. 5/10

Fred – Covered every blade of grass as per usual. Didn’t really influence the game though. 5/10

Bruno Fernandes – Two goals, taking his tally for the season to 21. His second was a beauty while his first he just capitalised on a poor mistake. 8/10

Daniel James – Used his pace to great effect. Had the ball in the net but it was ruled out for offside. Got his deserved goal in the 90th minute. Played well. 8/10

Mason Greenwood – Looked lively again but that final pass or shot let him down. He’s getting back to his best though. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Missed a couple of glorious chances in the first 45. Tucked away United’s third beautifully, though. 6/10

Subs:

Nemanja Matic – Did ok.

Anthony Martial – Steady.

Amad Diallo – Nice to see him out there.

Juan Mata – Needs minutes.
