Man United suffered a 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich last night, with our player ratings now in.

Andre Onana – Made a terrible mistake for the opening goal. He knows, fronting up to the media at full-time. 3/10

Diogo Dalot – Not good enough going forward once again. Struggled with Musiala’s quality for the second goal. 3/10

Victor Lindelof – Was okay for large stretches of the game, though did struggle to deal with Kane at times. 5/10

Lisandro Martinez – His ordinary start to the season continued. Was at fault for one of the goals. Just looks a yard off the pace at the moment. Perhaps injury related? 4/10

Sergio Reguilon – Without question, United’s best player for the second game running. The Spaniard looked threatening when going forward, while doing his job defensively. 7/10

Casemiro – Continues to be bypassed far too easily, despite often being isolated. Did score twice late to make the scoreline respectable. 5/10

Christian Eriksen – He’s not good in these kinds of games against the top midfield. He just doesn’t have the energy. Also should have scored early on. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Wasteful in possession on too many occasions when United just needed to settle down. Didn’t trouble the Bayern defence. 3/10

Facundo Pellistri – Started brightly and looked threatening, though that early promise quickly fizzled out. 4/10

Marcus Rashford – Just not threatening enough. Rashford struggled to get on the ball and attack his opposite number. 4/10

Rasmus Hojlund Scored his first United goal during a tough evening for the young man. He was well-marshalled by the Bayern defenders. 5/10

Subs

Scott McTominay – Replaced Eriksen but didn’t offer the required energy and effort.

Anthony Martial – Looked good up top.

Alejandro Garnacho – Helped Casemiro score.

  1. What can you say.Haven’t the players to do what Ten hag wants but that is down to the manager.Yes there are alot of players injured. Not good enough in midfield Eriksen is not the answer as a number 8, lovely player but he can’t do the job there.Should have started Dan Gore, someone who can get up and down, and also put a challenge in.Scott should be ashamed of himself, came through the ranks at United so he knows the expectations. He might be having a problem with the manager but that doesn’t stop you from doing your job when you put that shirt on your back.Marcus has got to stop whining and do your job.Come on lads, put that shirt on and work your socks off.
