Man United player ratings during 4-3 loss vs Chelsea

Here are our player ratings from the latest Man United Premier League game vs Chelsea.

Andre Onana – Made some smart saves to deny Chelsea’s attackers. His distribution was average. 6/10

Diogo Dalot – Played in a lovely cross for the Bruno goal. Had an inconsistent game defensively. Conceded the 99th-minute penalty. 4/10

Raphael Varane – Had a steady first half but predictably succumbed to yet another injury and came off at half-time. 4/10

Harry Maguire – Didn’t succumb to injury like the rest of his centre-back colleagues. Marshalled the back line well. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – A non factor for large portions. Made one or two good tackles but that was about it. 5/10

Casemiro – Arguably his poorest performance in United colours? Couldn’t get near his opposite number at all. Was pretty woeful in every aspect. 3/10

Kobbie Mainoo – Looked as calm and composed as ever. Bullied Chelsea’s Gallagher at times. Was great on the ball and gave up possession to a teammate when needed. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – Had a hit and miss game. Made some excellent runs when United were on the attack. Rewarded with a goal. 6/10

Alejandro Garnacho – Outstanding. Scored two goals. The first he took very well. The second a delicate header. A constant threat. United’s best. 8/10

Antony – Worked extremely hard and played for the badge. His work in two of the goals deserves immense praise, in particular the pass for Garnacho’s second. Unreal. 7/10

Rasmus Hojlund – Played 65 minutes. Wasn’t really given much support by his teammates. Worked his socks off. 5/10

Subs:

Jonny Evans – Only lasted about 20 minutes before he had to go off injured.

Marcus Rashford – Wasn’t really involved.

Willy Kambwala – Defended well.

Scott McTominay – Did ok.

Mason Mount – Not enough time to mark.

  1. in my opinion both Bruno and Mainoo were poor tonight Fours at best . Yes they had good moments but they also had a lot of bad moments as well .This team is a reflection of there manager they look lost and never quite sure what to do .We all seem to be living on hope and moments of brilliance and that is not enough if you want to win a title
