Man United player ratings during 6-2 win vs AS Roma

David de Gea – Didn’t really have much work to do, but had to pick the ball out of his net twice. Work that one out. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Got forward a few times, particularly in the second half. Pretty good. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Steady. Wasn’t at fault for either goal. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Set the captain’s example and defended well throughout. 5/10

Luke Shaw – Brilliant as per usual. 6/10

Scott McTominay – I’d like to see more quality in his passing and possibly more intent. He was ok, but perhaps too safe at times. 4/10

Fred – Similar to McTominay, really. He tried a shot from long range at 5-2, which I can forgive given the scoreline! 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Back to his best. Two goals, three assists and some unbelievable interplay. 10/10

Paul Pogba – Scored an insane header, was integral to our glorious first goal and always threatened. Unfortunate to give away an early penalty. 9/10

Marcus Rashford – Tried to make things happen but it just wasn’t really his night. He was stuck out on the right-hand side, though. 5/10

Edinson Cavani – His best display in a United shirt? Probably. Scored two brilliant team goals and his ball into Mason Greenwood for our sixth was just sublime. 10/10. Man of the Match.

Subs:

Mason Greenwood – Made it six with a lovely strike.

Nemanja Matic – Not enough time to mark.

Juan Mata – Not enough time to mark.
