Man United player ratings during late 1-0 win over Wolves (Premier League home, 2020/21)

David de Gea – Made some hugely important saves to preserve his clean sheet. 8/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Didn’t really get forward enough. Defended resolutely though. 5/10

Eric Bailly – Was excellent. His speed bailed United out on more than one occasion. Positionally solid too. 8/10

Harry Maguire – Won his aerial duels well. Didn’t give Wolves anything from set-pieces. 7/10

Alex Telles – Steady. Tried to whip crosses into the box. Subbed at half-time. 5/10

Nemanja Matic – Protected his back four excellently. Tried to get his team driving forward too. 6/10

Paul Pogba – Didn’t create enough. I guess it’s hard when there’s eleven men behind the ball. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Had a glorious chance in the first half, but we can hardly criticise Bruno can we…? 5/10

Mason Greenwood – Drifted in and out of the game. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Always looked like the one to make something happen. Got lucky with his goal but we’ll take it! 6/10

Edinson Cavani – Had a quiet evening in truth. Nice to see him play a full 90 minutes though. 4/10

Subs:

Luke Shaw – Had an excellent second half.

Anthony Martial – Looked quite lively.

Scott McTominay – Not enough time to mark.
