Player ratings as Man United smash Leeds Utd 6-2 (Premier League home, 2020/21)

David de Gea – Made a few massive saves to deny Leeds a way back into the game. Superb. 7/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Steady defensively and tried to make things happen in Leeds’ half of the field. 5/10

Victor Lindelof – It was really nice to see him on the score-sheet. Played pretty well for the most part. 7/10

Harry Maguire – Continues to set the captain’s example. Led from the back. 6/10

Luke Shaw – Had a solid game. Great to see him make some buccaneering runs forward. Well played. 6/10

Scott McTominay – His best game in a United shirt? Quite possibly. Scored two well-taken goals to set us on our way. Constantly tried to get forward and make things happen. 10/10.

Fred – Covered every single blade of grass as per. Probably should have bagged himself a goal, too. 6/10

Bruno Fernandes – A couple of goals and an assist. A standard day at the office. 8/10

Daniel James – He came into the side and was excellent. Thoroughly deserved his goal. 7/10

Marcus Rashford – Made some piercing runs forward but it just wasn’t his day in front of goal. It happens. 5/10

Anthony Martial – He didn’t score but Martial impacted the game with his creativity and passing. Quietly brilliant. 6/10

Subs:

Donny van de Beek – Steady.

Edinson Cavani – Had a half-chance or two.

Alex Telles – Not enough time to mark.
