David de Gea – Wasn’t really tested too much. 6/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Probably United’s best player on the day due to his defensive toughness. However, he wasn’t great in an offensive capacity. 7/10
Victor Lindelof – Wasn’t really involved in the game much. He tried to keep United moving in the right direction with the ball at his feet, though. 5/10
Harry Maguire – Dealt with Raul Jimenez well. Won loads of headers and tried to drive United forward. 6/10
Luke Shaw – Pretty good. Kept Adama Traore quiet for the most part and tried to bomb forward where possible. 6/10
Andreas Pereira – Bleurgh. The less said about him the better… 3/10
Fred – Good. Kept the ball moving and tried to make things happen. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – I’d describe his debut as ‘solid’. He had a few shots on target from outside the area, but nothing that was really going to test Rui Patricio. 6/10
Juan Mata – It’s sad that he’s probably still our most creative player, though the lack of movement in and around him was alarming. 5/10
Daniel James – Not a great outing. Ran the channels well but his on-ball quality and decision-making left a lot to be desired. 4/10
Anthony Martial – I sympathise with Martial because he had three Wolves players around him at pretty much all times, though it wasn’t a performance he’ll look back on fondly… 3/10
Subs:
Mason Greenwood – Didn’t really get into the game.
Jesse Lingard – Not enough time to mark.
Diogo Dalot – Not enough time to mark.
