Man United players becoming increasingly annoyed with Cristiano Ronaldo

The Man United squad are growing increasingly frustrated when it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United Football Club were dealt a real hammer blow from Cristiano Ronaldo a few weeks ago, when they learned of his desire to leave.

Timing-wise, Ronaldo couldn’t have delivered the news in a worse situation. Pre-season was underway, while potential transfer targets who could’ve replaced Ronaldo had already moved on elsewhere…

Well, now we’ve been given a little dressing room insight into the situation. The story comes from The Sun and it’s fair to say the other lads are not happy with what’s going on.

Apparently, the Man United players are becoming ‘increasingly annoyed’ with the key star, who ended last term as the Reds’ top scorer.

A number of the players ‘would prefer’ him to leave, rather than the current impasse which is going on between Ronaldo and the club. On top of that, there is a ‘growing anger’ in regards to Ronaldo’s ‘stance and attitude’ around the club.

Honestly, at this point I can’t say I’m surprised. For someone who is normally so professional, Ronnie has absolutely gone about this in the worst way possible. He’s even upsetting the matchday crowd, who booed him over the weekend. Unless your last name is Glazer, that’s a hard thing to accomplish for someone associated with United.

I was genuinely happy when Ronaldo’s name wasn’t in the starting XI at the weekend. Honestly, I didn’t want his petulance being rewarded.

The same thing goes for managers and players. When you lose the dressing room, it’s really hard to come back from. Ronaldo is now in that situation. Even if you’re the best to ever lace up a pair of football boots, it’ll be hard for Ronnie to win back those teammates of his.

Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo will get his move away from Man United during this window? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
