Man United are already working hard ‘preparing’ for the return of Amad to the first-team fold.

Manchester United have had several loan success stories to boast about this term. Both Hannibal and Alvaro Fernandez have enjoyed success in the Championship this term, as has Amad.

Perhaps the latter is the best-prepared to make a real push for a first-team place due to his price-tag and previous experience. Having already played some games for United, coupled with a simply stunning spell at Sunderland, you get the impression that he’s ready.

Now, that news has been all-but confirmed by the Manchester Evening News. They state that United are ‘preparing’ for the return of the 20-year-old to the squad.

On top of that, Amad will be invited to attend the FA Cup final ahead of a possible role in the squad next season. the winger has already had his cup final suit reserved in his measurements, ahead of the June 3rd showpiece.

United want Amad to feel involved as he prepares to partake in the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.

Before that, Amad has potentially three more games to play for Sunderland. A playoff double-header against Luton Town, then a possible play-off final at Wembley.

Amad has been Sunderland’s standout player for large portions of this season. He deserves credit for showcasing his abilities for the Black Cats – though shortly, his focus will switch back to United.

The good news for Amad is that there’s not really an awful lot of depth in the wider areas, meaning he could get opportunities – assuming he has a positive tour.

I also wouldn’t rule out another loan, particularly if Sunderland earn Premier League promotion.
