Manchester United Football Club need a big summer transfer window; regardless of who the next permanent manager is.
Obviously, things are made easier if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gets the job as he’ll already be having an input on potential targets.
Now, according to The Times, the latest name to be linked with a Manchester United move is Callum Hudson-Odoi. Their report says that the Red Devils, along with Bayern Munich, are preparing a summer move for the superstar teenager.
However, the report also adds that Chelsea have already told the 18-year-old he will not be leaving Stamford Bridge; despite some serious interest in him during the January transfer window.
Hudson-Odoi recently made his England debut, which felt weird because he actually hasn’t started a Premier League game for Chelsea. It’s obvious that he has immense ability, although he did show the naivety of youth for Montenegro’s opening goal.
With that said, I’d love to see Hudson-Odoi at Old Trafford. He’s the perfect player for this club and we’ve been crying out for a real right-winger for years. He’d be a massive upgrade on what we have in that area of the field right now, meaning he’d probably walk straight into our starting line-up.
The only problem is that Chelsea hold all the aces and it’d take an astronomical bid to even tempt them into selling.
